The house is located in San Teodoro, in Gallura, in the province of Olbia and Tempio, in Sardinia, north-east of the island. We are in the center of the resort but in a very quiet residential area, we are in the ground floor, we are in a complex of terraced houses, 10 minutes walk from the Cinta beach and 10 minutes walk from the center of the resort with all the main nearby activities. The strategic position gives the opportunity to move on foot to reach all areas, we are in a place with access reserved for residents, controlled by a guard during the day, with a large communal garden with tennis court and outdoor showers, very edited. the two different entrances lead to two areas of the Cinta beach, which is about 700 meters away.
San Teodoro is a sunny Gallurese village of elegant villas and flowery streets overlooking the turquoise sea of the north-eastern coast of Sardinia, you will be spoiled for choice among its splendid beaches.
La Cinta, a thin and long stretch of golden sand embraced by the blue and crystalline sea, Cala Brandinchi, a white coast and waters similar to tropical paradises renamed, not surprisingly, Tahiti, Lu Impostu, its natural continuation, the magnificent Marina of Puntaldìa with its modern marina and the Caribbean show of s'Isuledda. These are the symbolic beaches of San Teodoro, a renowned tourist center, particularly loved by young people for its summer nightlife, whose territory also boasts other famous coastal pearls: it is impossible not to visit Cala Ginepro, a bay perfumed by the Mediterranean scrub, the Coda Cavallo beach , which will amaze you with a gaze towards the grandeur of Tavolara and its protected marine area, Cala Ghjlgolu, which will surprise you with a rock shaped by wind and sea in the shape of a turtle, one of the most popular natural attractions, especially for children. And then there are the less famous and equally beautiful: Baia Salinedda, Cala d’Ambra, Cala Suaraccia, Li Corri di Li Becchi, Li Marini and Seghefusti. The spectacle of the coast is completed, behind the beaches, by the San Teodoro lagoon, a stopping point for pink flamingos in migratory periods and residence of the knight of Italy, an ideal place for walks and birdwatching.
Known in Gallura as Santu Diàdoru, the village is inhabited by just under five thousand residents in winter, animated by tens of thousands of tourists in summer. The center came to life in the seventeenth century, in the immediate hinterland on the eastern slopes of the Monte Nieddu massif, when shepherds and fishermen populated the splendid portion of land, which has been frequented since prehistoric times. The nuraghe of the Naracheddu village is the most relevant testimony. There was also an inhabited center in Roman times: the archaeological finds are documented in the museum of the sea.
Among the events not to be missed, the feasts of the patron saint Theodore, whose church was rebuilt in the mid-twentieth century, and that of St. Andrew, which takes place in the Montipitrosu district. The fires of Sant'Antonio Abate are very suggestive, a festival called Lu Fuculoni, during which the population gathers around bonfires in honor of the saint. San Teodoro is a place of delights for the palate: in May here is the Aglióla, where you can taste the typical dishes. The cuisine will win you over with Gallurese soup, made with bread, cheese and beef broth. Arriving at the dessert, be tempted by cucciuléddi milàti, bundles with honey, frisjióli léti, pancakes, and niuléddha, with almond and grated orange. All accompanied by a glass of Vermentino di Gallura.
The apartment has an atrium which is accessed from the private garden at the entrance, there is talk of a shaded space in which a table with chairs and some furniture for utensils are positioned. Entering the house you enter the living room which has a single sofa bed , complete with all utensils and a kitchenette with four-burner hob, sink and fridge with freezer,air-conditioned living room that refreshes the whole house. From this area there is access on one side to the bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet and on the other side to the double bedroom. We are in a nice apartment strategically located between the sea and the center, in a very quiet complex.
